Vacation Bible School 2008

Every evening started with supper

Followed by gathering time

The theme each night had to do with "obey"ing
Sunday night a special visitor demonstrated how easy it is to obey

Our 11 year olds had a special program
They interviewed both adults and kids about their experiences at VBS and typed up the interviews for future use
They also shot a number of the pictures on this page. Included here are a lot of the adult volunteers as well as the 11 year olds

A great deal of thanks go to our youth who helped so much all week

This year VBS also had a special Missions theme
Each night everyone was asked to bring a different item:
We had Undie Sunday! (new boys/girls underwear-all sizes)
Footsie Monday!, (new boy/girls socks - all sizes)
Scrubby Tuesday! (Bubble bath, bath soap)
Smilie Wednesday! (tooth brushes and toothpaste)
Tangle Thursday! (combs, brushes, shampoo, hair accessories for girls)

All items donated will be sent to the kids of the Henderson Settlement in Kentucky along with backpack donate by the
United Methodist Men
