A brief description of the adult classes available at FUMC Lindale

| Agape | Sunday School class for special needs adults that meets in the former Busy Bees room of the
Main Building. This class is facilitated by Judi Staton, Cindy Sample, and Billy Black. For more information call

| Builders | The Builders Class is a fun loving, hymn singing group that supports FUMC Lindale with their
prayers, presence, service and gifts. Sundays begin with coffee and fellowship followed by a few hymns to prepare
the class to hear the lesson from Ruby Harper. For more

| George Lake Men's class | The George Lake Men's Class is a group of men, small in number and of all ages dedicated to
the support of the programs and missions of the FUMC Lindale. The teaching and hearing of God's word, taught by
lecture, is based on the International Lesson Annual series. The lessons, along with warm fellowship, prove to
be a positive influence for the living of our lives. Tom Brewster, Jesse McKay and Charlie Davis teach this men's

| Lucy Bradshaw | The Lucy Bradshaw class is a group of ladies with a wide range of ages from sixty to ninety,
but who are young at heart. This class's main focus is love - love of God, love of His Holy word, love of each
other and love of others. This class is a mission-minded and service oriented fellowship led by Pat Turner. Judi
Staton and Margaret McKay are class substitute teachers. Polly Smith is president of the class, Maydene Prather
is the vice president and Judy Brakebill is the treasurer. For more information contact any of the class instructors

| New Covenant | A Bible based study environment for high school graduates to retirees utilizing a format which
encourages Bible discussion and review. room FMC 3002 |
| Open Door | The Open Door Class is open to all adults regardless of age, gender or marital status. Each
Sunday morning a different Christian subject is presented by various guest speakers and class members, so that
the class hears a variety of opinions on many different issues. Missions and outreach are an area of special interest
to our class. This class also supports a number of scholarships for college bound students as well as aid to needy

| Pairs & Spares | The Pairs and Spares class work with Meals on Wheels, We Care, Shoes for Children, Kairos, Emmaus,
missionary support as well as other church and community needs. The class enjoys good Bible study and finds that
the International Lessons annual and daily devotional combined with class discussion and great teachers help to
give encouragement for daily life. Fellowship is cherished and nurtured. Come and join this class. For more information

| Susanna Wesley | The Susanna Wesley class is a Bible study group for women of all ages that studies the Bible
from a spiritual perspective. Judy Vandiver teaches this group, in a lecture style format, by looking in depth
at God's message of life, love and truth from Genesis through Revelation. This group seeks to grow in knowledge
of the Word and in fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. room MB 1015 (Chapel) |
| Upwords | This class is for the parents of high school or college age children who love discussion. Topical
Book studies are done with a focus on discussion and sharing each other's thoughts and ideas. For more information
