 What
if church was a verb? Well here it is! We at First United Methodist Church Lindale are working together to build
the kingdom. We offer three meaningful worship services that range from contemporary, to relaxed, to traditional
style services and we open our arms and hearts welcoming all who come to join us in our journey. You will find
places to do missions, and a heart for children of all ages. We provide many opportunities to grow in the faith
by housing the community food bank and working with other like minded community churches and organizations. We
offer hope through food to the hungry in the Lindale School District. The Society of St. Stephen has a thrift store
named "We Care" where you can purchase gently used clothing and help fund the food bank. We provide encouragement
and treats for our troops and offer the facilities to the community for Upwards Football, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts
and Primetimers. Come have a family meal on Wednesday night and join an amazing choir, while the children enjoy
activities from Bible study to guitar lessons, chime choir, and a drama team. Open hearts and open doors welcome
all who enter. There is a place for you here. You can find acceptance, opportunities to serve and a place to grow
your faith with roots that will go deep and spread wide. We are looking for you. |
